Owner, Founder & Certified Residential Appraiser

Kari Lang, formerly Kari LaPlante, is a Phoenix native, born and raised in the Valley of the Sun. Her lifelong connection to the area gives her a unique perspective on the Phoenix real estate market and the growth and transformation that have shaped communities throughout the Valley. As owner of LaPlante Appraisals, Kari is committed to providing accurate, reliable, and thoughtful appraisal services while helping clients navigate property valuation with clarity and confidence.

Kari is also actively involved in the appraisal profession, serving as Vice President of the Coalition of Arizona Appraisers and as a board member of the Appraisal Institute, Phoenix Chapter. She is passionate about professional education, advocacy, and contributing to the future of the appraisal profession. Outside of work, Kari and her husband, Matthew, live in Phoenix with their three cats.
